Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit tax forms and filings (e.g., BAS, GST).
- Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Handle payroll processing and related compliance requirements.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
