Job Description

As a Sales & Customer Service Operator, you are responsible for converting inbound enquiries into bookings, memberships, and long-term customers while delivering a high standard of customer experience.

You will manage enquiries via phone, email, and text, confidently recommend the most suitable programs, follow up leads, and close sales. This role plays a direct role in revenue growth, class fill rates, and customer retention across all Voyager Tennis locations.

This role suits someone who enjoys sales conversations, follow-ups, and accountability, and who understands that strong customer service and strong sales go hand in hand.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Experience in sales, telesales, or customer service with a strong conversion focus.
  • Confident communicator comfortable closing sales over the phone.
  • Strong follow-up habits and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage high enquiry volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Interest in sport, tennis, or active lifestyles is desirable.
Job Responsibilities
  • Convert enquiries into sales by promoting coaching programs, trials, memberships, court hire, and retail offerings.
  • Proactively follow up warm and cold leads to maximise enrolments and reduce lost opportunities.
  • Upsell and cross-sell programs, memberships, and services based on customer needs.
  • Handle inbound and outbound communication via phone, email, and SMS with professionalism and urgency.
  • Build trust quickly with parents and adult players, guiding them to the most appropriate program.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (SportLogic / InTennis) to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service & Sales Coordinator to improve conversion rates, scripts, and processes.
  • Handle objections and complaints professionally, turning issues into retention opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing, registrations, and attendance records to support smooth operations.
  • Represent the Voyager brand with consistency, energy, and professionalism.
