We’re looking for a highly creative, performance-driven Video Editor who is obsessed with producing scroll-stopping video ads that drive results.
Someone who can use their storytelling superpowers to generate ads that will be seen by people around the world. A quick learner who can make considered video editing decisions, come up with their own creative ideas then turn it into ad creative content for Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat that drives conversions.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- 2+ years of video editing experience (preferably in advertising or social media content).
- Strong background in storytelling, creative ad production, and audience engagement techniques.
- Experience producing content for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms.
- Experience in AI image and video generation tool prompts (e.g., ChatGPT, HeyGen, Nanobanana, Kling AI etc.).
- Ability to produce multiple creative variations quickly and efficiently.
- Preferred:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Experience with motion graphics and visual design for ads.
Job Responsibilities
- Video Editing & Ad Production:
• Create, edit and deliver high-quality and high-performing video ads for platforms including Meta, YouTube, and TikTok that focus on conversion (what gets people to take action).
• Apply storytelling techniques, motion graphics, typography, SFX, and music to transform creative briefs into engaging (Likes, Shares, Clicks), scroll-stopping, conversion-focused video content
• Ensure all creatives align with direct response marketing principles and performance goals.
• Research and understand buyer psychology and their pains, desires, frustrations and aspirations to determine the best visual presentation to improve engagement.
• Leverage multiple editing software and AI tools (ChatGPT, HenGen, NanoBanana, Kling AI) to produce high-quality content efficiently.
• Organize and manage video assets and version controls in accordance to Grip’s standards for efficiency iteration and scalability.
• Collectively uphold high quality standard of creative asset delivery by performing QA for other Team Players, ensure assets delivered are error-free. - Creative Strategy, Collaboration and Optimization:
• Collaborate with the Internal Creative Team to brainstorm new ad concepts Contribute ideas during internal meetings by sharing the latest social media trends and suggesting new creative storytelling techniques.
• Incorporate buyer psychology and audience insights into creative execution. Understanding triggers that drive actions.
• Explore conceptual experimentation that exceeds the creative brief requirement and aligns with the latest trends in organic social content and direct response marketing. - Testing, Optimization & Innovation:
• Continuously test and iterate creatives using A/B testing methodologies.
• Analyze performance data to improve engagement and conversion rates.
• Stay ahead of trends in social media, editing techniques, and AI tools.
