Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Bookkeeper to provide offshore administrative, accounts-processing, and light executive support to business owners in Australia. In this role, you will play a key part in streamlining operations by taking ownership of routine accounts and inbox management, ultimately returning 10–15 hours of critical focus time back to leadership each week.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of solid bookkeeping and accounts administration experience with strong accounting fundamentals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
- Communication & Precision: Excellent written and spoken English, exceptional attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Attributes: High discretion when handling confidential financial data, methodical workflow habits, and a proactive mindset.
- Nice to Have: Prior experience supporting Australian clients (knowledge of GST/tax invoices) or field-service/construction/transport industries.
Job Responsibilities
- Accounts Processing: Accurately enter supplier bills/invoices, match purchase orders and dockets, prepare draft customer invoices, and perform simple weekly reconciliations.
- Inbox Triage & Communication: Sort, label, and prioritize incoming owner emails based on clear rules, draft routine template responses, and immediately escalate urgent or financial matters.
- Light Executive Support: Coordinate meetings, maintain diary invitations, basic agendas, and keep action registers updated.
- Documentation & Updates: Maintain orderly digital records, assist in building simple SOPs/checklists, and provide concise daily/weekly updates on completed tasks and blockers.
