Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Transport Ops and Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for processing Electronic Delivery Orders (EDOs), managing new job entries, and coordinating container deliveries and collections. Your strong memory and ability to recall information accurately will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery for our customers.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Good memory and the ability to recall information quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in data entry or logistics is a plus but not required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Accurately input and maintain EDOs in the transport management system, ensuring all information is current and correct.
  • Enter and verify new job orders into the system, assigning resources as needed and updating job details as necessary.
  • Schedule and coordinate container deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of delivery schedules.
  • Manage the collection of containers from the wharf, coordinating with drivers and the wharf to ensure efficient operations.
  • Regularly update and maintain data records, including customer information, job statuses, and delivery/collection details.
  • Liaise with internal teams, drivers, and external partners to facilitate smooth and accurate data transfer.
  • Utilize strong memory and recall skills to ensure quick access to information and efficient data handling.
  • Address any issues related to deliveries or inventory discrepancies promptly to maintain operational efficiency.
