Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for software testing and problem-solving? Wrkpod is seeking a talented Test Analyst to join our dynamic IES Software team in Dumaguete, Philippines. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in managing software releases, scripting automation, and supporting our clients and development team.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software testing or a related role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for database management and queries.
  • Experience with automation scripting using Python, VBA, or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with software release management and version control systems.
  • Understanding of software license management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in client support and handling technical inquiries.
  • Knowledge of data management best practices.
  • Familiarity with updating user and operational documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
Job Responsibilities
  • Overseeing and coordinating the release of software updates and new versions to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Tracking and managing software licenses to ensure compliance and optimal utilization.
  • Utilizing advanced SQL skills for database querying, data extraction, and analysis.
  • Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability across software systems.
  • Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, VBA, or other scripting languages to streamline testing and other processes.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for users and operational procedures.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to clients, addressing and resolving their software-related issues.
  • Assisting the development team with various tasks to enhance overall productivity and efficiency.
