Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Structural CAD Drafter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, shop floor drawings, and production instructions for staircase and balustrade systems. Working closely with our production team, you will turn architectural plans into precise manufacturing outputs. We provide full internal training on our specialized staircase design software (Stairbiz), making this an excellent opportunity for a CAD professional looking to advance their career with a supportive team.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
  • Experience: Approximately 2 years of practical experience in structural drafting, shop drawing creation, or blueprint interpretation post-graduation.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor.
  • Blueprint Expertise: Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret architectural blueprints and structural drawings without supervision.
  • Software Adaptability: Strong willingness and technical aptitude to learn proprietary software (Stairbiz); full training will be provided.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive communication skills, and a reliable work ethic in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
  • Interpret architectural, construction, and structural engineering blueprints to develop accurate 2D/3D models and shop drawings.
  • Utilize specialized software (Stairbiz) and standard CAD tools to generate detailed production instructions and component breakdowns for factory floor manufacturing.
  • Calculate material requirements, measurements, and tolerances to ensure precise production output.
  • Collaborate with local and offshore teams to clarify project specifications, design adjustments, and production timelines.
  • Maintain organized drawing records, project revisions, and technical documentation.
