Senior Web Developer

Job Description

We’re seeking a talented and creative Senior Web Designer with a proven track record in WordPress and Elementor page builder. As a key member of our team, you’ll be responsible for designing and developing visually stunning, user-friendly websites that align with our clients’ branding and marketing goals. Your expertise in graphic design, particularly with the Adobe Suite, will be instrumental in creating exceptional digital experiences.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Web Designer, specialising in WordPress and Elementor page builder.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress websites, custom themes, and advanced Elementor designs.
  • WooCommerce Site setup experience.
  • Proficient in front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).
  • Extensive experience with responsive design and mobile-first principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for graphic design work.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application in web design.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop websites primarily using WordPress and Elementor page builder.
  • Translate business goals and user needs into compelling, responsive web designs.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and design prototypes in Adobe XD (or similar) that reflect branding and site objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance the design, performance, and usability of existing WordPress / Shopify sites.
  • Ensure all designs are optimised for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Design and create graphics, banners, and other visual elements using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and integrate them into your workflow.
