As our client base grows, we are seeking a highly experienced accounting professional to support the financial management of our creative clients. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping and requires someone who can confidently manage multiple client accounts, maintain accurate financial systems, and provide reliable reporting to support business decisions.
You will work closely with our Sydney-based team while independently managing the day-to-day accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of clients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work confidently in an environment.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience working with Australian accounting firms or servicing Australian accounting clients.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, strong experience using Hubdoc or similar document management systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Degree-qualified accountant (Accounting, Finance or related discipline).
- Strong working knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, IAS, payroll and superannuation requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple Australian client files independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience working with music, entertainment or creative industry clients is highly regarded.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of accounts payable and receivable for multiple Australian clients.
- Maintaining accurate bank, credit card and loan account reconciliations.
- Managing payroll processes and ensuring accurate superannuation reporting and compliance.
- Preparation and review of IAS and BAS forms for companies, trusts and partnerships.
- Preparing management reports, financial summaries, and advanced Excel-based financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Oversight of commission calculations and revenue tracking where applicable.
- Maintaining accurate client records within Xero and Hubdoc
- Working closely with the Sydney team to ensure accurate financial management and reporting for all clients.
