Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working in an administration or finance team.
- Completed or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.
- Preferred experience with Xero and MYOB systems.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail in all tasks.
- Ability to manage competing timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible and solution-focused, with a strong team spirit and ability to work independently.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier invoices and payments, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Process accounting entries as directed and compile key operating metrics.
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations, processing transactions in MYOB and Xero, while maintaining organized records of invoices and receipts.
- Prepare project calculations for contracts and reconcile settlement payments.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, managing asset acquisitions and disposals.
- Assist with end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-financial-year (EOFY) reconciliations and reporting.
- Support weekly payroll processing and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and broader teams to fulfill accounting duties.
- Handle general administration duties and ad hoc tasks as required.
