Research Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team in Tanjay. This role is pivotal in supporting our property acquisition and sales process. You will be responsible for filtering property listings, performing due diligence (such as flood mapping), and generating comprehensive market reports. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and capable of maintaining high standards of data accuracy across our digital platforms and client presentations.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to quickly learn and navigate property research software (specifically Pricefinder).
  • Analytical Skills: High attention to detail for property shortlisting and risk assessment (flood checks).
  • Communication: Strong written skills for managing social media and drafting agency agreements.
  • Design/Layout Skills: Proficiency in creating professional presentations for recent deals and past sales.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage digital files, print materials for client folders, and follow strict administrative workflows.
  • Education/Experience: Previous experience in real estate or administrative research is a plus, though full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
  • Property Research: Shortlist properties from provided lists and conduct “Flood Checks” to ensure viability.
  • Reporting: Run detailed research reports using Pricefinder (including CMAs and branded reports) following specific company formats.
  • Digital Presence: Manage social media updates and draft recent/past deals presentations.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Prepare and manage agency agreements.
    • Fill out shortlist templates with data extracted from property. advertisements.
    • Prepare physical client folders by organizing and printing necessary PDFs.
  • Post-Purchase Workflow: Once a property is purchased, save the original advertisement and coordinate with the team (e.g., sending details to Lynda).
  • Correspondence: Manage specific email workflows, such as sending out Deprecation emails to relevant parties.
