We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our operations. In this role, you will provide critical support by preparing cost estimates, conducting quantity take-offs, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial control of construction projects while collaborating closely with our UK team and adhering to local UK construction standards.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in reinforced concrete or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction practices, materials, and standards.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., Bluebeam, Contractor Foreman, AutoCAD).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with UK-specific contracts, such as JCT or NEC.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for formwork, reinforcement, and concreting projects.
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all quantity surveying documentation.
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare tender and contract documentation in line with UK standards.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular financial updates.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Liaise with the UK-based team, including project managers and site supervisors.
- Ensure seamless communication across time zones and maintain timely responses.
- Ensure all work complies with UK construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Stay updated on changes to UK building codes and industry practices.
