Loan Writer & Credit Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Loan Writer & Credit Analyst based in the Philippines to join our growing New Zealand mortgage advisory firm. In this role, you will act as a vital backend engine, thoroughly reviewing financial documents, running servicing calculations, and building accurate, submission-ready loan packs in full compliance with NZ lending standards. Working directly with our NZ-based advisers, you will ensure seamless file processing, clear communication on missing information, and quick turnarounds to help client applications succeed.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in lending, loan writing, credit assessment, or back-office support for mortgage brokers or banks (AU/NZ preferred).
  • Strong understanding of income types, credit checks, and responsible lending.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft, Excel, and mortgage CRMs.
Job Responsibilities
  • Reviewing client documents (bank statements, payslips, ID, credit reports, etc.).
  • Completing lender servicing calculators based on NZ lender policy.
  • Preparing clean, accurate loan application packs for submission.
  • Following up on missing documents or discrepancies.
  • Ensuring compliance with New Zealand mortgage guidelines.
  • Working closely with the NZ-based adviser to meet submission deadlines.
