The Junior Accountant will support the accounts team by accurately entering costs, tracking accounts receivables and payables, and assisting with financial reconciliations and reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth operations within the accounting department.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AroFlo, Xero) and office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Enter supplier bills into AroFlo and Xero.
- Maintain accurate records for accounts receivables and payables.
- Reconcile supplier statements and office credit cards.
- Reconcile remittances to ensure accuracy.
- Send monthly client statements and invoice reminders.
- Assist clients with payment processing and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Send invoice receipts and deposit reminders.
- Update job statuses for awaiting deposit payments.
- Assist the Accounts Supervisor with various accounting tasks, including payroll.
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Receivable Coordinators as needed.
