The IT & VA Support Specialist provides essential support to Virtual Assistants & Professionals (VA-Ps) and WrkPod staff by ensuring smooth operational processes, technical assistance, and equipment management.
This role acts as the primary point of contact for VA-Ps, manages Tier 1 IT support, and oversees the efficient handling of company assets and client-owned equipment. The position contributes to WrkPod’s goal of delivering exceptional managed concierge services by combining technical expertise, organisational skills, and a client-first mindset.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, VA support, or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote access tools.
- Experience in equipment procurement and inventory management is an advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve technical and operational issues effectively.
- Organisational Skills: Proficient in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Commitment to delivering exceptional support to VAs and staff.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle ad hoc tasks and adjust to dynamic operational needs.
Job Responsibilities
- VA-P Support:
● Serve as the primary point of contact for VA-Ps, addressing enquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
● Provide administrative and operational assistance to VA-Ps, ensuring a streamlined workflow.
● Implement and enforce operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and compliance.
● Resolve issues and complaints efficiently, delivering excellent customer service.
● Oversee the onboarding process, including clearance procedures and equipment safekeeping.
● Regularly update and maintain the asset registry for VA-P and staff equipment. - Equipment and Asset Management:
● Track and organise client-owned equipment in storage for efficient management.
● Assist in implementing RFID systems for secure access control.
● Coordinate the procurement of company equipment and merchandise.
● Manage WrkPod merchandise printing and distribution. - Facility Coordination:
● Arrange room reservations to accommodate meetings and events. - Tier 1 IT Support:
● Deploy equipment to support daily operations.
● Provide first-level troubleshooting for technical issues, including remote access configuration.
● Evaluate and escalate support tickets to Tier 2/3 as necessary. - Other/Ad Hoc Tasks:
● Complete additional tasks assigned to support overall operations and objectives.
