Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or related fields is essential.
  • Experience in the sports, hospitality, or service industries is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with candidates and team members.
  • Ability to build relationships and foster a supportive workplace culture.
  • Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Flexibility and openness to taking on new tasks and responsibilities as the role evolves.
  • A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting a positive team environment.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and other departments.
  • Strong focus on maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
Job Responsibilities
  • Craft and post engaging job advertisements on various platforms to attract skilled professionals who align with the company’s values and culture.
  • Utilize social media, job boards, and industry-specific channels to maximize outreach.
  • Review resumes and applications efficiently to identify candidates that meet the organizational needs and vision.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with potential hires, collaborating with hiring managers to ensure a streamlined process.
  • Prepare interview questions that reflect the role’s requirements and the company’s values.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and are well-prepared for their roles.
  • Develop onboarding materials and schedules that facilitate a smooth integration into the team.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, including team member files, performance reviews, and training documentation.
  • Manage day-to-day HR tasks, ensuring compliance with all company policies and legal requirements.
  • Serve as a primary contact for new hires, providing support and guidance to foster a positive workplace environment from day one.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with new team members to ensure they feel supported and engaged.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that promote a positive work culture.
  • Ensure that all HR practices are compliant with local and national employment laws.
  • Address team member inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR-related issues.
  • Promote team member engagement initiatives and support a collaborative work environment.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization and coordinate relevant programs.
  • Support team members in their career growth by providing resources and guidance.
