Graphic Designer

Job Description

We need a very strong Graphic Designer to work from the Wrkpod office.

This role needs to cover two key areas:

• Print & Deliver design work: Industrial stickers, safety signage, labels, decals, logbooks, whiteboards, printed items, portal artwork packages and other client-branded print/signage products.

• Project design / rebranding work: Building signage concepts, site rebranding, exterior and interior branding, wall graphics, painted brand areas, decor concepts, wayfinding concepts and client presentation visuals.

We need someone who can design both practical printed items and larger visual branding concepts for buildings and sites.

This is not a basic artworker role. We need someone with strong design ability, good visual judgement and proven experience applying brands across print, signage, buildings, interiors and commercial environments.

They do not need to know the internal production requirements from day one, as we can train that. The most important thing is that they are already a highly capable designer with the right experience.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • This person must be highly skilled and fully competent in:
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe InDesign
    • Print and signage layout
    • Brand application across physical environments
    • Industrial sticker, label and decal design
    • Building signage and rebranding concepts
    • Environmental graphics and decor concepts
    • Photo retouching, image compositing and realistic signage mockups
    • Superimposing signage, branding, graphics and paint finishes onto building/site photos
    • Creating client-ready visual concepts and presentation artwork
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in:
    • Signage design
    • Large format print
    • Industrial stickers, labels and decals
    • Brand rollout and rebranding projects
    • Building signage concepts
    • Environmental graphics
    • Interior branding / wall graphics
    • Exterior branding and paint concept visuals
    • Commercial or industrial site branding
    • Client-facing design presentations
Job Responsibilities
  • Creating industrial stickers, safety signage, labels, decals, logbooks, whiteboards, printed items, and portal artwork packages.
  • Developing building signage concepts, site rebranding, exterior and interior branding, wall graphics, painted brand areas, decor concepts, and wayfinding concepts.
  • Preparing client-ready visual concepts and presentation artwork.
  • Superimposing signage, branding, graphics, and paint finishes onto building and site photos to create realistic mockups.
