Events Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, and reliable Events Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing events business in Australia. This is a remote, part-time position, ideal for a highly experienced, proactive problem solver with exceptional organizational skills and a solutions-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of software tools, including email platforms, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Xero, Stripe, Asana, and Go High Level, and demonstrate the ability to learn new tools quickly, show up and get things done.

You will play a key role in managing multiple events throughout the year, ensuring seamless execution while supporting the company directors. This role requires someone who is teachable, has high integrity, and can assertively complete tasks without requiring micromanagement.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in email platforms, Google Workspace, Xero, Stripe, Asana, and Go High Level (or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly).
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and assertively while maintaining a collaborative approach.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Experience in event management, project management, or a related field is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple events from planning to execution using Asana and Go High Level management software.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for events.
  • Serve as the lead coordinator for all pre-event and day-of logistics.
  • Book and manage venues, sound and media, and videography services.
  • Handle all vendor payments and ensure timely invoice processing.
  • Manage the company Stripe account, including tracking payments, payment plans, defaults, and processing client refunds.
  • Pay all company invoices promptly.
  • Coordinate with company directors and the advertising team to ensure alignment on event strategies.
  • Track registrations, attendees, and buyers using Google Sheets.
  • Maintain and organize event-related documentation.
  • Oversee and manage the company Instagram account to promote events and engage with the audience.
