Pawtopia Pet Supplies is an exciting new e-commerce venture under the Sydney Pet Resort umbrella, specializing in a huge range of pet products for dog and cat lovers. With an established reputation in the pet industry, the pet supplies business is a natural progression in a high demand industry. As a startup, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled E-Commerce Expert with Shopify experience to help us build & manage our online store from the ground up.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Mid to senior level background in e-commerce and Shopify store management.
  • Mid-level web design and online retail with previous experience with Shopify stores.
  • Strong understanding of store management processes and e-commerce best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills for direct client interaction.
  • Marketing experience is highly regarded.
  • Marketing experience is highly regarded.
  • Energetic personality with a passion for pets.
  • Sales driven with fresh ideas to promote products and sales.
  • Highly confident to approach existing businesses and suppliers to list their products in our store.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the owner and marketing specialists.
Job Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain our Shopify web store, ensuring it is fully updated and functional.
  • Upload product listings and manage inventory effectively.
  • Manage administrative tasks, day-to-day orders and the drop shipping process to provide seamless and efficient running of the business operations.
  • Serve as the point of contact for customer inquiries (Monday to Friday).
  • Collaborate with a marketing specialist to develop and execute promotional strategies.
  • Engage in regular social media activities across platforms to promote different products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients through calls and emails to address inquiries.
  • Oversee the logistics of shipping orders to customers, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Actively research and connect with potential suppliers for personalized pet products to enhance our product range.
