As a Data Analyst, you will serve as the organization’s analytical “do-er,” transforming raw data into actionable commercial insights. Reporting to the Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will play a critical role in helping our members navigate a changing world by identifying trends, patterns, and risks. This role is based in our Dumaguete office to foster a strong collaborative culture, ensuring our teams remain connected and effective in delivering value to our stakeholders and shareholders.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI), along with experience using AI analysis tools for automation and efficiency.
- Analytical Thinking: Proven ability to analyze large datasets, apply statistical techniques, and challenge the status quo to drive business growth.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of overall business drivers, commercial risk (debt exposure), and market intelligence.
- Data Management: Experience in data collection, cleaning, structuring, modeling, and testing from multiple sources while maintaining high attention to detail and compliance with data governance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences and manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Commercial & Advanced Analytics: Deliver descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to report on historical performance and forecast future opportunities in sales, margin, and category trends.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Produce and maintain weekly BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and aligning outputs with the needs of the Leadership team and Members.
- Stakeholder Support: Partner with the Strategic Portfolio Manager and Head of Merchandising to provide data-led recommendations that support pricing, range, and member strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Review top-line categories and SKU performance to identify gaps, overlaps, and optimization opportunities while monitoring member debt exposure.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct industry analysis to benchmark internal performance against external market signals and emerging risks.
- Process Innovation: Drive efficiency by adopting new organizational models, overhauling mindsets, and utilizing AI tools to automate data gathering and analytical processes.
