Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Mid to senior-level experience in bookkeeping, with a strong emphasis on reconciliation work.
- Proficiency in Xero and MYOB is preferred, but experience with other bookkeeping software is acceptable.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify areas for process improvement.
- Experience in a similar role with extensive reconciliation work.
- Familiarity with various accounting and reconciliation software tools.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reconciliation of various company accounts, including bank accounts, loan accounts, and other financial records.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of company loan accounts, tracking repayments, and interest calculations.
- Review and reconcile weekly transactions, ensuring consistency and accuracy across company records.
- Collaborate with other departments to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all records are aligned.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as document filing, organizing financial records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Reconcile and verify travel and accommodation-related transactions, ensuring proper allocation and documentation.
- Use Xero, MYOB, or other familiar bookkeeping software to manage and reconcile accounts.
