We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join our team. In this dual role, you will be instrumental in managing our financial records and supporting our administrative operations. You will ensure financial accuracy and provide essential support to our Directors and Accounts team while assisting with administrative tasks in coordination with our Executive Assistant.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (an Associate’s degree or relevant certification with substantial experience may be considered).
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Discretion and respect for the confidentiality of financial data.
- Familiarity with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel and word processing.
Job Responsibilities
- Accurately record and classify financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expenditures, in the general ledger.
- Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and accounts receivable by preparing and sending customer invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and international transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and process team member payroll, including calculating hours, deductions, and taxes, ensuring timely disbursement of paychecks.
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining records for tax filings, including sales tax, income tax, and payroll tax.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data.
- Prepare documentation and assist auditors during financial audits.
- Utilize accounting software (Xero) to maintain financial records efficiently.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Work closely with the Executive Assistant to ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assist with client communication via email, WhatsApp, and text messaging once trained.
- Use a transcription tool to check that transcribed data is accurate from videos and voice files as needed.
- Help the management team document systems and create workflows.
- Oversee the printing and ordering of stock, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
- Once trained, assist with running personality profile reports and sending reports to clients.
- Provide general administrative support, ensuring confidentiality and meeting all agreed deadlines.
