We are a busy, established travel agency looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is designed to provide essential bookkeeping and administrative support, allowing our travel consultants to focus on sales and business growth. You will work closely with our Australian team to handle accounting tasks, database management, and operational duties across multiple specialized systems.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bookkeeping Experience: Previous experience in a bookkeeping role is essential.
- Education: Candidates must possess higher education, such as a degree or diploma.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills with a friendly, professional manner.
- Technical Skills: High attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and accounting workflows. Intermediate Excel skills are preferred.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with Office 365, Monday.com, Travelog, Amadeus, or Travefy is beneficial but not required (full training provided).
- Soft Skills: Ability to learn new processes quickly, proactive approach, and excellent time-management skills.
- Industry Experience: Prior travel industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Job Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Complete weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and supplier return reconciliations.
- File Organization: Create and organize client files, including detailed accounting for individual trips.
- Database & Admin: Manage and maintain client databases and assist with Excel spreadsheet management.
- Consultant Support: Follow up on invoices and booking-related matters on behalf of travel consultants.
- Documentation: Prepare and issue final travel documentation to clients.
- General Support: Perform general administrative and accounting tasks as required to maintain a smooth sales environment.
