Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure the upkeep and accuracy of client’s accounts receivable information in our Home Care operating system AlayaCare.
  • Ensure the upkeep and accuracy of our accounts receivable balances in our accounting software, QuickBooks, through importing of invoices and receipts
  • Ensuring the accuracy and upkeep of Accounts Payable in our accounting software, QuickBooks, through the entry of supplier’s invoices, and payments.
  • Prepare supplier payments as required and respond to supplier inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Preparation of monthly profit and loss and reconcile and prepare monthly balance sheet statement and other reports as required.
  • Conduct analysis to quantify issues and identify improvements.
  • Maintenance and updating of our cashflow spreadsheets for day-to-day and week-to-week management.
  • Monitor and forecast cashflow, budgeting, and expenditures.
  • Prepare and maintain budgeting and forecasting data using forecasting apps and QuickBooks.
  • Preparation of weekly key performance indicators (KPIs) through the importation of data in our KPIS Dashboard application to identify and address issues.
  • Analyse various items to establish benchmarks and improvements.
  • Complete forms and requirements for commercial purposes related to the business.
  • Engage in continuous personal development opportunities.
  • Contribute to team results and support colleagues in a collaborative environment.
