Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Communication: Fluent written and spoken English; professional interaction skills.
- Experience: Proven background in accounts and general office administration.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel (for complex reporting).
- Problem Solving: Ability to reconcile complex or missing payment data independently.
- Attributes: Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Adaptability: Quick to learn new platforms and comfortable with changing priorities.
- Preferred (Nice-to-Haves): Experience with Caterease, Hospitality Genie, Employment Hero, or Monday.com; familiarity with the Australian hospitality industry.
- Eager to leverage time and training to transition into a leadership role.
Job Responsibilities
- Inbox Management: Monitor the accounts email inbox and ensure timely responses.
- Payment Reconciliation: Reconcile customer payments in Caterease using bank and remittance data.
- Supplier Relations: Manage supplier invoices via Hospitality Genie for Xero integration.
- PO Processing: Process client purchase orders and update records accurately.
- Accounts Receivable: Execute protocols to secure prompt and final payments from clients.
- HR Support: Assist with employee onboarding via Employment Hero and resolve payroll queries.
- Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key business metrics.
