From the Classroom to the World: WrkPod & Abellana Technical Sign a New Chapter in EBET Training
We are beyond excited to announce the newest addition to WrkPod’s growing network of TESDA-accredited education partners, and this one is bringing the future of skills training straight to Bais City.
On April 10, 2026, WrkPod Inc. and Abellana Technical and Vocational Center Inc. (ATVC) put pen to paper on a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), officially launching a five-year Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) program aligned with TESDA’s rigorous standards. The signing ceremony was held at the Abellana Building, Osmenia St., Brgy. 2, Bais City, and was marked by one powerful theme: “Building a strong partnership for success.”
Representing WrkPod Inc. were Executive Manager Meriane B. Salik and Head of HR Marvie Datolio. Abellana Technical and Vocational Center was represented by its President and CEO, Fe L. Abellana.

More than a partnership – a mission
This isn’t just another MOA signing. It’s a deliberate, strategic move to expand WrkPod’s reach beyond Dumaguete City and into the wider Negros Oriental region. By partnering with a TESDA-recognized training and assessment center, we’re making sure that the skills revolution happening inside WrkPod’s walls also touches communities across the province.
The EBET program operates on a dualized training model — the same “Training to Trabaho” philosophy that has already proven its worth through our earlier partnerships.

WrkPod’s responsibilities go beyond just hosting trainees. As the implementing enterprise, we will register the program with TESDA’s Provincial Office, conduct a Training Induction Program (TIP) for every incoming cohort, establish a dedicated EBET Committee to govern the program, and ensure full compliance with Occupational Safety and Health standards. Every trainee enters a structured, safe, and world-class learning environment.
For its part, ATVC will co-develop training plans, deliver the theoretical curriculum, monitor trainee performance, and provide full venue access to WrkPod’s training faculty, at no additional cost. Every venue used will be held to TESDA’s world-class technical qualifications. This is not a passive partnership; both sides are all-in.
“Both parties recognize the need for a joint effort towards the implementation of the EBET program in the country, responsive to the needs of the industries through education and skills training accessible to the Filipino as a step in nation-building.”

Why Bais City – and why now?
This partnership is a direct answer to a growing demand. The global BPO and digital services industry continues to look to the Philippines for talent, and the Philippines has it in abundance. What’s needed is a system that connects raw potential with structured, globally competitive training. That’s exactly what WrkPod’s EBET program was built to do.
By extending our footprint into Bais City through ATVC, we’re widening the pipeline. Talented Filipinos who may not have had access to WrkPod’s training ecosystem now have a clear, supported pathway into fields like accounting, digital marketing, web development and many more qualifications recognized not just locally, but internationally.
What’s next?
With the MOA now in full effect, both teams will begin coordinating on the first training cohort, curriculum alignment, and trainee intake under the program running from January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2030.
The classroom is getting bigger. The opportunity is getting wider. And WrkPod is just getting started.
Follow our journey as we keep building the bridge between Filipino talent and global opportunity – one graduate at a time!
