We're Hiring

WordPress Web Administrator & Technical Support

Job Description

We’re seeking a full-time WordPress Web Administrator & Technical Support Specialist to maintain, support, and continuously improve a portfolio of client business websites. This pivotal role goes beyond basic upkeep—you’ll act as the hands-on extension of our core team, ensuring smooth operations, handling essential legwork, and responding quickly to team and client needs.

Your work will significantly free up time for Adam, the company director, enabling him to lead creative strategy while you execute, support, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. They will lead on design and strategy; your focus is on diligent execution—implementing updates, completing all technical and content-related tasks, and tackling the leg work that keeps their agency running smoothly.

  • Fast learner, eager to master our tools and systems.
  • Consistent communication and high accountability for both the quality and timeliness of your work.
  • Previous agency or small business experience, comfort with remote and asynchronous teamwork.

Job Responsibilities
  • Site Maintenance & Technical Support:
    ● Routine and advanced updates: WordPress core, plugins, themes, forms, and WooCommerce. We almost exclusively use WP Engine.
    ● Act as the technical first responder—troubleshoot and solve user or client issues, escalating only when needed.
    ● Perform simple content changes, data entry, and page edits provided by the team—accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
    ● Handle the grunt work: population of content, bulk changes, media and image uploads, and implementation of design changes drafted by senior staff.
  • Operational Legwork:
    ● Take ownership of basic operational and site-related admin, freeing up the senior team (especially Adam) to focus on leadership priorities.
    ● Meticulously log all activity on Trello, updates, and time spent, providing clear documentation for review and accountability.
    ● Proactively follow up on team requests—be comfortable being the “go-to” for repetitive or essential behind-the-scenes work.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    ● Become highly familiar with our internal systems, checklists, and workflows; willingness to learn quickly is a must.
    ● Work closely with team members via Trello, email, and video calls—be highly responsive during agreed work hours.
    ● Highly collaborative spirit: Ask questions, share ideas, and support others; you’re not just a contractor, but a valued, integrated team member.
    ● Respond flexibly to urgent issues or outages—while hours are stable, some responsiveness for emergencies is expected.
