Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a video editor in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Knowledge of audio editing software and sound design principles.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
- Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and take direction well.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure video content aligns with project goals and vision.
- Enhance video footage with special effects, motion graphics, and other visual elements.
- Synchronize soundtracks and audio effects with visual content, ensuring high-quality audio integration.
- Adjust colors, contrast, and lighting to ensure consistency and visual appeal.
- Keep up with industry trends and new editing technologies to ensure content is current and engaging.
- Organize and maintain video assets, including footage, graphics, and other project files.
- Review edited videos to ensure they meet technical and quality standards before final delivery.
