Job Description
This role focuses primarily on video editing using tools such as Descript and CapCut (or similar) to support Colin’s online courses, workshops, and brand presence. Experience with these platforms is preferred but not essential if you have strong skills in other video editing software.
The secondary aspect of the role involves content creation for social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and others), covering both short-form (reels, stories, clips) and longform content (instructional and entertaining videos from 20–60 minutes).
You will ensure that all content is engaging, visually on-brand, and accessible for the target audience — primarily women aged 60+ in Australia, the UK, New Zealand, South Africa, and the USA.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience in video editing and digital content creation.
- Understanding of Descript, CapCut, or similar video editing tools preferred but not essential if you have experience with other video editing platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Strong eye for design, colour, and accessibility for senior audiences.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Exposure and understanding of AI tools to help productivity in video and content creation.
Job Responsibilities
- Video Production & Editing:
• Assist Colin in planning video shoots for tutorials, workshops, and promotions.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging lessons with captions, graphics, and transitions suited for seniors using Descript, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Create short-form promotional clips for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add on-screen text, annotations, and branding to all videos.
• Export and format videos for LearnWorlds, YouTube, and other platforms. - Content Creation for Social Media:
• Create content tailored to both short-form (reels, stories, shorts) and long-form (20–60 min instructional and entertaining videos).
• Develop supporting graphics and visual elements to enhance content.
• Repurpose existing content (workshop clips, lessons, live Q&As) into engaging posts across platforms. - Graphic Design:
• Design social media posts, stories, and promotional materials using Canva.
• Create presentation slides for workshops, webinars, and live events.
• Design infographics, handouts, and course visuals that are clear, friendly, and easy to follow.
• Produce eye-catching thumbnails for YouTube videos.
• Develop branded templates for social media posts and course resources.
• Prepare launch graphics, countdown posts, and reminder content for new courses or workshops. - Content Optimisation:
• Ensure all online content is accessible, visually engaging, and easy for seniors to navigate.
• Optimise YouTube titles, descriptions, and tags for SEO.
• Update website course pages with new visuals, descriptions, and testimonials.
• Source and manage royalty-free images and background music.
• Support promotional campaigns with consistent branding across all platforms.
