The Team Leader is responsible for the efficient and effective development and supervision of a team Medical Secretaries. Their role is to facilitate the integration of the member’s practice, optimise their utilisation and support their skill development. This role is an essential part of the company’s continued success and allows the Operations Manager to focus on managing operational workflows, ensuring client satisfaction, optimising resources, and supporting the company’s growth.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor, ideally within the virtual assistance, BPO, or tech industry, with a strong track record of optimising team development and improving client relationships.
  • Graduated bachelor’s degree in teaching, health sciences, business management or similar studies
  • Strong understanding of leadership management principles.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, especially Docs, Presentations & Spreadsheets.
  • Strong foundational leadership skills, ethical standards, and integrity.
  • Leverages critical analysis and solution-oriented thinking to lead with vision and foresight.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with leadership foresight.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective, balanced communication and interpersonal abilities.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and support 10 – 12 employees.
  • Onboard into the team and integrate them with the medical practice with whom they work.
  • Liaise their medical practices to foster great
    relationships, create opportunities for growth and resolve any conflict.
  • Support the training and development of the team.
  • Efficiently manage any performance issues within the team.
  • Ensure that at all times, acting and behaving in the best interest of the business and abiding by all of the policies and procedures documented within the Company Handbook.
  • Lead and develop a team with compassion, strength and strategy.
  • Facilitate and assist in developing individualised training plans for your team.
  • Build strong communication and relationship skills with Australian Specialist Medical teams.
  • Perform all other tasks requested of you or directed by management.
