Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Proven experience as an SEO Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Yoast, SEMrush, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Knowledge of website optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in SEO or related fields
- Candidates with practical experience in SEO, demonstrated through successful projects or a proven track record, are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords for content optimisation.
- Analyse keyword trends and competition to optimise content for improved search engine rankings.
- Optimise website content, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking, for better search visibility.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation.
- Backlink acquisition – develop and execute off-page optimisation strategies, especially focussing on backlink building to enhance the website’s authority.
- Trade and business directories – ensure we are listed on applicable directories to optimise digital footprint.
- Perform website audits to identify technical issues affecting SEO performance (e.g., crawling, indexing, site speed).
- Work closely with web development/hosting company to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Performance monitoring and reporting:
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.).
- Generate regular reports on key SEO metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Perform website health checks.
- Add new content to the websites as needed – content provided.
- Add weekly blog and LinkedIn posts – content provided.
- Test the websites on various devices and run regular speed tests.
- Work with website developer/hosting service to manage and fix any errors.
- Attend weekly virtual meetings and may need to lead discussions relating to website/SEO topics.
- If requested, attend webinars or research and test new technology tools.
