Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying and project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost plans and budgets for construction projects.
- Conduct cost analysis and performance reporting.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure that costs remain within budget.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage variations and changes to the contract scope.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
- Ensure that all work complies with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
