The role involves working closely with internal teams and suppliers while maintaining and optimizing company systems and data repositories. Proficiency with tools like Fishbowl WMS and a passion for structured, data-driven processes are essential.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Open to learning new software and adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Initiative: Proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Fishbowl WMS or similar inventory management systems (optional).
  • Excel/Google Sheets: Open to candidates with basic to intermediate experience in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Numerical Affinity: Must have a good affinity with numbers and working with data.
Job Responsibilities
  • Purchasing & Supply Chain Support: Manage purchasing and inventory using Fishbowl WMS, coordinate with suppliers, track inventory movements, verify costs, and oversee purchase orders to ensure timely stock availability.
  • Inventory Control & Reporting: Monitor container movements, generate inventory and supplier performance reports, identify slow-moving stock, and maintain accurate data for valuation and forecasting.
  • Systems Champion & Workflow Development: Document processes, maintain system documentation, support users with system queries and training, and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Software Learning & Implementation: Research, learn, and implement new software tools, create internal workflows and SOPs, and collaborate with teams and vendors for optimization.
  • Product Research & Development Support: Research new products and suppliers, maintain supplier records and certifications, and assist in evaluating and qualifying new products and vendors.
  • Executive Support: Provide data analysis, prepare reports and presentations, manage special projects, and handle ad hoc tasks for the Managing Director.
