Job Description

Moonshot Media is looking for a reliable, proactive Marketing Assistant to help keep our internal marketing running smoothly and support client delivery work.

We’ve already got a clear marketing strategy in place – which includes a podcast, cold email funnel, curated newsletter, and the founder’s personal brand. Your job is to help execute the current strategy and bring it all together behind the scenes.

Some systems are already built. Others still need to be refined. You’ll follow the existing playbooks where they exist – and help us improve and systemise the rest as we go. You won’t be responsible for coming up with the marketing strategy, but if you’ve got good ideas, we’re all ears.

This is a full-time role made up of two parts:

1. Internal marketing coordination – helping us stay consistent and organised with our existing marketing efforts.

2. Client delivery support – assisting with short-form copywriting, content scheduling, and other small client-related tasks.

The right person for this role takes pride in keeping things on track, loves ticking off to-dos, and wants to grow with the business long term.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Previous B2B
  • Strong written English and communication skills.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Can take initiative.
  • Comfortable following checklists and recurring workflows.
  • Familiar with (or willing to learn) tools like Trello, ConvertKit, Google Docs, Calendly, Quickmail, and Pipedrive.
  • Tech-savvy and proactive with follow-through.
  • Able to work independently, with clear communication and a can-do attitude.
  • Bonus: Experience with newsletters, cold email tools, or podcast production.
Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinating podcast guest outreach and scheduling.
  • Liaising with our podcast editor and uploading weekly podcast episodes.
  • Creating LinkedIn content to promote new podcast episodes.
  • Managing cold email outreach campaigns (uploading leads, monitoring replies).
  • Updating and maintaining our CRM (Pipedrive).
  • Sending follow-up emails to podcast guests and warm leads.
  • Curating, writing, formatting, and scheduling our bi-weekly newsletter (ConvertKit).
  • Supporting with light client copywriting and content scheduling.
  • Assisting with the founder’s personal brand and small marketing projects when time permits.
