Job Description
The Marketing Assistant provides day-to-day marketing support under the direction of the Marketing Coordinator. This includes managing content uploads, social media scheduling, product updates, research, reporting, and creative asset preparation.
The role focuses on execution and delivery, ensuring campaigns, products, and content are implemented accurately and on time. The Marketing Assistant supports both Erect-A-Rack and ReadyRack brands.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing or digital content support.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field (preferred).
- Experience working with offshore teams advantageous.
- Proficiency in Shopify, Canva, and social media scheduling tools.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow processes and brand guidelines.
- Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing concepts is desirable.
Job Responsibilities
- Content & Creative Support:
● Create and schedule social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
● Assist with preparing graphics, banners, and basic creatives using Canva or Photoshop.
● Upload blogs, articles, and product information to websites.
● Assist with product photography editing, resizing, and formatting.
● Maintain brand consistency in all content produced. - Shopify Product Management
● Upload new products, collections, and tags to the ReadyRack Shopify store.
● Update product descriptions, specifications, and pricing as provided.
● Optimise product listings for SEO, readability, and accuracy.
● Ensure images, SKU codes, and stock statuses are correct.
● Report any missing information or inconsistencies to the Marketing Coordinator. - Email & Automation Support:
● Assist with email campaign setup in Klaviyo or HubSpot.
● Update templates with content and visuals approved by the Marketing Coordinator.
● Monitor email performance metrics and prepare simple reports. - SEO & Research:
● Conduct keyword and competitor research to support SEO strategies.
● Monitor and record competitor product pricing and promotions.
● Research potential new industries or content topics for campaigns.
● Compile insights into structured spreadsheets or reports for review. - Reporting & Administration:
● Maintain marketing task trackers and update campaign progress.
● Prepare weekly activity summaries for review.
● Collect data for monthly performance reports (traffic, engagement, conversion).
● Organise and maintain shared marketing folders and file structures.
● Assist with ad performance tracking and basic analytics updates. - Collaboration & Communication:
● Attend weekly check-ins with the Marketing Coordinator for task alignment.
● Communicate daily progress, questions, and challenges clearly.
● Follow clear task priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
● Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all work.
