Marketing Assistant

Job Description

This role of the Marketing Assistant plays a key role in driving All Guard Safety’s marketing efforts. This position is responsible for supporting marketing strategy and execution across digital channels, assisting with planning, content creation, customer portal construction and updates, and general marketing administration. The ideal candidate is proactive, digitally savvy, has strong copy-writing skills and is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Loyal, honest, reliable and above all, discreet and professional.
  • Friendly, positive and solutions-focused attitude.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools (Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads).
  • Competent with Canva and basic desktop publishing (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong working knowledge of WordPress CMS.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Familiar with B2B marketing and customer engagement.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Responsibilities
  • Digital Marketing & Content Creation:
    • Manage and schedule social media content across platforms (e.g. Facebook & LinkedIn).
    • Create and send email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
    • Write engaging copy for social posts, EDMs, blogs and product updates.
    • Assist with desktop publishing and updates to product catalogues and brochures.
  • Website & Portal Management:
    • Maintain and update company website (WordPress).
    • Construct and manage customer ordering portal content and ensure product information is current and accurate.
  • Marketing Admin & Strategy Support:
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Managers to contribute to marketing strategy and initiatives.
    • Maintain marketing resources such as brand guidelines, product range documents and image libraries.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis when required.
