General Virtual Assistant (Social Media & Podcast Content)

Job Description

This is a hands-on execution role with a strong focus on social media content creation, scheduling, and coordination, alongside podcast production support, as well as light marketing and admin tasks.

You’ll be helping manage active client work immediately, so this role is ideal for someone who is confident working in a fast-moving environment and can follow systems while keeping a close eye on details.

This is a long-term role for someone who wants stability, consistency, and the opportunity to grow with the business.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant or Social Media Assistant.
  • Have worked with agency clients or multiple brands.
  • Are confident using:
  • Project management tools.
  • Canva for graphic design (minimum 6 months of active use).
  • Social media scheduling tools.
  • Have experience writing clear, engaging social media captions.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Are creatively driven, with a strong eye for content and presentation, and can support that creativity with solid organization and time management.
  • Are self-motivated and proactive – you don’t wait to be chased.
  • Stay up to date with current social media trends and content formats.
  • Pay extreme attention to detail.
  • Can adapt tone, messaging, and design style to suit different clients.
Job Responsibilities
  • Social Media & Content Execution:
  • Creating social media content for agency clients, including:
  • Canva-based graphics (carousels, static posts, promotional content).
  • Formatting and uploading reels / short-form videos (basic editing from provided clips).
  • Writing captions for social media posts using provided direction.
  • Scheduling posts across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
  • Managing and updating content calendars.
  • Ensuring content aligns with each client’s brand voice and guidelines.
  • Podcast & Content Support:
  • Writing podcast shownotes.
  • Scheduling and publishing podcast episodes via hosting platforms (Libsyn, Buzzsprout, Captivate FM, etc.).
  • Creating social media assets to support podcast episodes.
  • Repurposing long-form content into social media posts.
