The Guitar Gym Pty Ltd, through its brands The Guitar Gym and Sono School Of Music, is an industry leader in private music education based in Brisbane, Australia. We’re seeking a forward-thinking and results-focused Digital Marketing Manager to spearhead our digital marketing initiatives. As the Digital Marketing Manager, your mission will be to craft and implement digital marketing strategies that boost our brand’s visibility, foster engagement, and enhance conversions.

The ideal applicant will bring a wealth of knowledge across digital marketing channels, a history of implementing successful campaigns, and sharp analytical abilities to the table. This role offers the chance to work alongside a small team to reach our marketing objectives. While the area of most importance for this role is managing Google, Microsoft, and Meta Ads, for this to be a full-time role, duties will also include general social media management.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
  • Strong creative thinking and design skills.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and G Suite.
  • Advanced analytical abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with email automation, campaigns, and platforms like Mailchimp, Drip, or similar.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Basic skills in WordPress page building and tracking code/tag coding are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
  • Passion for staying updated with marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • Passion for music is highly valued.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and developments in digital marketing platforms.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across diverse channels, including social media, email, content marketing, and paid ads (Google, Microsoft, Meta).
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
  • Assist in promoting and coordinating company events, webinars, and promotional activities.
  • Create compelling and persuasive content for digital platforms that reflect our brand voice and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce multimedia content, such as graphics, videos, and infographics.
  • Contribute to social media management by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search rankings.
  • Manage and refine SEM campaigns to attract targeted traffic and drive conversions.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance indicators, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports to evaluate the impact of digital marketing efforts on achieving business objectives.
  • Effectively manage digital marketing budgets, allocating resources to optimize campaign performance.
