Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: At least 2-3 years in patio design, architectural design, or a
related field. - Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to design review and problem-solving.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication
skills to liaise with clients, installers, and other team members
professionally. - Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD,
SketchUp, or similar) and the ability to interpret site plans and blueprints.
Knowledge of MS Excel is a huge plus. - Hands-On Approach: Comfortable conducting on-site measurements and troubleshooting technical issues during installations.
- Customer-Centric: Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on
providing exceptional customer experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Design Creation: Create detailed, accurate, and aesthetically pleasing
patio designs. - Review and Quality Control: Carefully inspect designs completed by
others, identify issues, and ensure plans meet both company standards
and customer expectations. - Prevent Design Mistakes: Leverage your experience to identify common
design pitfalls and establish procedures to avoid them in future projects. - On-Site Measurements: Visit customers’ properties to perform final
measurements after patio sales, ensuring accuracy before starting the
design process. Present yourself as a professional ambassador of The
Patio Factory. - Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with installers, providing
technical support and answering any design-related questions during
installation.
