We are Twisted Truth Media, a full-service media production and marketing agency, established in 2017, that specializes in providing the total, end-to-end execution and management of marketing and media for a variety of businesses all throughout Australia. Our services, as part of this cover everything from social media management, to digital marketing, professional photography and videography content, website design and development, copywriting, graphic design, product design, marketing strategy, and more.
As a Creative Marketing Specialist at Twisted Truth Media, you will be an integral part of our team, coordinating and executing marketing projects for our clients while ensuring the successful delivery of media production and marketing projects from our freelance team.
This is the perfect role for a hard-working, creative all-rounder with broad experience in the field of marketing. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your role possesses a strong variety of work and will see you executing tasks across social media management, copywriting, digital marketing, graphic design, photo and video editing, account and project management, and more. It will also see you working with our clients and overseeing our pool of freelancers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a marketing/social media related role, i.e., a Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Specialist, Social Media Specialist, Content Creator, etc.
- Prior experience working for a creative/marketing agency is highly regarded.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating some of the work you have created is a must (i.e. samples of social media posts, copywriting, photo/video edits, graphic design/website projects).
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or Social Media.
- Familiarity/proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is a must, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe InDesign is also highly regarded, as well as familiarity with Canva.
- Proficiency and understanding of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with web design tools, such as Wix and WordPress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in UK/AUS English.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen creative eye and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides).
- Experience with advertising tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp and CRM/email marketing tools like Mailchimp is highly regarded.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow within the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Working across client social media accounts, including everything from generating ideas, to creating photo/video/design based content, writing social media copy/captions, scheduling content, measuring engagement, and reporting.
- Creating short videos, editing photos, and creating basic graphics where required for social media and other marketing initiatives, using the Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Creating and managing digital ad campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
- Generate performance reports and recommend optimizations to improve campaign outcomes.
- Understand client needs, translate them into actionable project scopes, and manage client communications throughout the project lifecycle. This includes potentially speaking with clients directly in meetings/via email as part of successfully delivering projects.
- Write detailed briefs for freelancers, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure timely delivery of all projects. This includes overseeing a team of freelancers including video/photo editors, graphic designers, web designers/developers, and photographers/videographers, ensuring high-quality output and ensuring all deliverables meet Twisted Truth Media’s standards and client expectations.
- Assist the Managing Director with diary management, meeting scheduling, and email correspondence as needed.
- Perform basic website design and updates, manage inventory and website content, plugins, themes, and backups, across Wix and WordPress for clients.
- Write copy for various channels, including blogs, social media posts, email marketing, and websites.
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies, ensuring consistent brand messaging and effective campaign execution, while staying informed on current marketing trends and implementing insights into client strategies.
