Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing diverse writing samples.
- Proficiency in using Canva for graphic design.
- Basic video editing skills with familiarity with software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
- Experience with other graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for content creation.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Create compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of mediums including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, advertisements, and product descriptions.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone and style.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and brainstorm creative ideas.
- Design eye-catching graphics and visual content using Canva for social media posts, email newsletters, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs and ensure that visuals align with our brand guidelines.
- Manage and organize Canva templates and assets for easy access and use by the team.
- Perform basic video editing tasks including trimming, cutting, and merging clips to create engaging video content.
- Add text overlays, music, and simple effects to enhance video quality.
- Ensure all video content is optimized for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events.
- Coordinate with different departments to gather information and assets for various projects.
- Conduct research to support content creation and marketing strategies.
- Manage schedules, deadlines, and project timelines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Handle communications and correspondence related to creative projects.
- Maintain organized records of all creative assets and project files.
