Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and formats.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and industries.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices is a plus.
- Creativity and the ability to generate fresh, innovative ideas.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free content.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity, ensuring accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to brainstorm creative ideas and strategies for content campaigns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality content consistently.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content marketing techniques.
Job Responsibilities
- Optimize content on the website www.voyagers.travel and related B2C consumer sites for travel. We will send details.
- Follow content briefs provided by the team.
- Create content from these briefs.
- Humanize text sourced from AI (we will fact-check; you need to rewrite it in a natural, human tone).
- Conduct journalist outreach via email and the Pressranger system to pitch our services. (We will help with initial pitches and topic ideas.)
- Rewrite existing blogs.
- Create stories based on photos and videos.
- Additional ongoing tasks include:
● Developing high-quality, original, and engaging content for a range of marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns, product descriptions, and advertisements.
● Maintaining and strengthening our brand voice and tone across all written communications, ensuring consistency with our brand identity.
● Researching and understanding our target audience — their needs, preferences, and pain points — to create content that resonates.
● Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and rankings, including keyword research and on-page SEO.
