Job Description
As a Trainee Content & eDM Creator, you will collaborate with a Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive to primarily assist in creating email marketing campaigns and managing blog content for our clients. You will gain hands-on experience in setting up email campaigns, designing assets, briefing AI for copywriting, and understanding testing and scheduling fundamentals. Additionally, you will upload and optimize content for search engines.
6-month apprenticeship leading to a permanent contract with a 3-month probationary period and 6-month status as ‘trainee’. After successful completion of probationary and training periods, the candidate will receive official status as a ‘Content Marketing Creator’ or an ‘Email Marketing Creator’ for The Change Starter.
Starting salary: $500 AUD per month
Post-probation salary: $525 AUD per month plus Health Insurance
Post-apprenticeship salary: $600 AUD per month with a title change to reflect the role specialization

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree in Marketing or a related field (Required)
- Willingness to be trained and openness to learning
- Demonstrated flair for design and creativity with examples to share during the interview
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Conscientious work ethic and confidence to ask questions
- High discretion and security diligence in handling confidential information
- Proficient and enthusiastic about using technology
- Natural creativity in design and branding
- Experience with Canva or other design software is an advantage
- Familiarity with Outlook, Google Drive, Trello, and Slack is an advantage
Job Responsibilities
- Create and implement monthly email campaigns
- Upload, optimize, and publish blog posts
- Brief, review, and utilize AI for email copywriting
- Design graphics in Canva for email campaigns
- Set up, test, and schedule email marketing campaigns
- Manage content assets on Google Drive and Canva
- Brief, review, and publish blog content
- Conduct keyword research and manage content plans
- Update client marketing calendars with new content links
- Assist in onboarding new clients
- Stay updated on digital marketing best practices and algorithm changes
- Support the Digital Marketing Executive and other team members as needed
