Job Description
The Cleaning Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organised environment within WrkPod facilities, in accordance with the company’s “Pride of Place” standards.
This role ensures that all areas, including common spaces, offices, restrooms, and meeting rooms, are cleaned and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
The Cleaning Specialist also assists in operational tasks, such as substitute security duties, delivering supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas.
- Time Management: Capable of managing tasks efficiently within allocated time.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Flexibility: Willingness to perform additional tasks as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that require physical effort, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Job Responsibilities
- Facility Cleaning:
● Clean ablution facilities, staff and VA common areas, lobby, reception, and meeting rooms.
● Collect and dispose of garbage from all facility areas.
● Check consumable supplies (e.g., tissue, hand soap) and place re-orders when required.
● Clean, check, and refill coffee machines as needed.
● Vacuum carpets and thoroughly dust all horizontal surfaces, including chairs, tables, and furniture.
● Dust mop hard surface floors with a treated dust mop and damp mop to remove spills or soiled areas.
● Damp wipe glass windows and remove fingerprints from entrance and partition glass. - Restrooms:
● Stock tissue and hand soap.
● Empty trash receptacles.
● Clean and polish mirrors.
● Sanitize toilets and urinals, including toilet seats (both sides).
● Dust partitions, mirrors, and frames.
● Mop and rinse restroom floors with disinfectant. - Additional Tasks:
● Substitute for security guards during break times.
● Deliver supplies to other WrkPod sites as needed.
● Assist facility personnel in general tasks.
● Maintain chairs in a clean and orderly condition.
● Report broken equipment requiring repair to the Facility Supervisor.
