We are a rapidly growing automotive repair business with four workshop locations across Australia. Committed to delivering high-quality service, we are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic work environment and assist in maintaining efficient financial operations.

The Bookkeeper/Accountant will be responsible for handling various bookkeeping and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable and Receivables processes.
  • Experience in payroll processing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Australian company bookkeeping or accounting practices preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with XERO accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, Monday, or Karbon is a plus.
  • Strong comprehension and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to implement systems and structures to streamline daily procedures.
  • Interest in leveraging new technologies to enhance existing systems and processes.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Reconcile payments and receipts with the general ledger, balance sheet, and supplier statements.
  • Conduct daily bank reconciliations, including monitoring unpresented payments and short-term cash flow.
  • Prepare financial statements and account listings as required.
  • Manage Online Filing using OneDrive.
  • Process payroll if necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to the management team.
