Job Qualifications/Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financer role (mandatory).
- Basic understanding of SMSF accounting and taxation.
- Experience with accounting software (Class Super experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing SMSF Annual Returns for submission to audit.
- Support workflow management of the Lodgement Program.
- Collect and organise required documentation from clients.
- Assist clients with basic queries and contribute to solutions.
- Monitor daily client account reconciliations.
- Work closely with senior accountants and auditors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Ability to follow, develop and improve workflows and systems.
