Savvas Studio is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assistant Video Editor to support the senior editing team across social and branded content. Execution-focused, with room to contribute small creative improvements under guidance of the Lead Editor.

Purpose:

  • Deliver high-quality, consistent edits efficiently.
  • Maintain creative standards across platforms.
  • Free senior editors to focus on storytelling and creative direction.
  • Suggest small improvements within briefs.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Proficient in CapCut Pro (required), Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Fast, efficient workflows with attention to detail.
  • Strong file organization, naming, and version control.
  • Ability to follow briefs carefully and maintain consistency.
  • Clear written communication in English.
Job Responsibilities
  • Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Create cut-downs from long-form content.
  • Add captions/subtitles and format for multiple platforms.
  • Repurpose content and deliver first-pass edits for review.
  • Apply feedback accurately and maintain clean, organized files.
  • Not Responsible For:
    • Final creative decisions, brand strategy, client communication.
    • Posting, scheduling, analytics, or final approvals.
