Job Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoyment of creative aspects of content creation.
- Desirable: 3-6 months of work-related experience.
- Virtual Assistant experience is a plus.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
Job Responsibilities
- Document systems in Google Sites/creation of Flow Charts
- Ensure files added to Google Drive / Dropbox are correctly labeled
- Set up Google Alerts, scan daily, and forward any key findings to the manager
- Check email inbox 3-4 times per day to check for spam and reply to common emails
- Identify wanted / unwanted promotional emails
- Work with manager to write templated responses to emails
- For difficult emails, notify the manager and support them to reply
- Check spam folder once a day to find and retrieve non-spam emails
- Check Facebook/Instagram for messages to respond to
- Manage live chat on the website
- Respond to reviews in Trustpilot
- Assist manager in responding to sales inquiries ASAP
- Follow up outstanding invoices and seek payment
- Take any new task given to you and put it into a task management tool
- Check tasks due every day
- If you have a lot of tasks, ask your manager to help prioritize your list
- Review new contacts weekly and delete any spam emails
- Review new contacts and capitalize the first letter of names
- Ensure all mobile numbers are properly formatted for SMS
- When required, create new customer lists for marketing campaigns
- Use Klaviyo to create emails with copies, images, and links
- Send manager final tests of marketing emails and get approval
- Send out marketing emails at agreed time and monitor results
- Use tools like Answer the Public to research content ideas
- Study industry blogs, forums, and groups to find content ideas
- Work with the manager to decide topics you can create content on
- Find articles/content that can be shared via social media
- Design promotional images that go into emails
- Design flyers or posters for upcoming promotions
- Assist in creating Facebook image ads
- Resize, crop, and file photos
