Trustd Figures is an outsource provider of trust accounting services for real estate agencies across Australia. Real Estate Trust Accounting plays a critical role in overseeing financial transactions for property sales, purchases, and rentals, ensuring strict compliance with complex legislation. Trust accounts must be managed carefully as they hold funds belonging to buyers, sellers, tenants, or landlords and never the real estate agencies themselves. Failure to properly manage these funds can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines, license loss, or imprisonment.

Our skilled team manages trust accounts remotely, adhering to all necessary regulations to ensure the protection and appropriate handling of client funds.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • A strong personal interest in working with numbers and solving complex issues.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy when handling client financial information.
  • Understand the importance of the Australian Privacy Legislation.
  • Be confident in delivering quality work on time.
  • Friendly, personable, and able to work well with a team of senior trust accountants.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • A sense of humor and the ability to enjoy the work environment.
Job Responsibilities
  • Accurate entry and coding of bills in the system.
  • Prepare client EOM reports and assist with the entire EOM process.
  • Daily access and import of bank statements into property management software for reconciliation.
  • Prepare and manage client payment files.
  • Create and organize client financial reports.
  • Help review cost codes, set up new client accounts, and configure task management systems.
  • Execute reports and review trust balances.
  • Prepare client members in telephony and other systems, and create client filing systems and workbooks.
  • Prepare balance reconciliation reports, bank statements, and perform semi-automated data matching.
  • Participate in documenting and improving company procedures.
  • Assist in booking travel and organizing team events.
  • Track KPIs and prepare reports for team performance.
  • Schedule client review meetings.
  • Perform testing and provide feedback for the company’s website.
