Admin Architect

Job Description

Perrem Design & Construction is an Australian design–build company specialising in high-end architectural homes. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team in a hybrid role — combining administration and bookkeeping support with interior and architectural assistance.

The right person will be highly organised, fluent in English, confident with client communication, and comfortable working in both Xero and SketchUp-based workflows.

Job Qualifications/Requirements
  • Excellent written and spoken English – must be confident communicating with clients and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with data entry and financial reconciliation.
  • Experience using Xero, Dext, and Wunderbuild (or similar project management tools).
  • Proficient in SketchUp (required) and capable of preparing interior documentation and 3D models.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines across admin and design functions.
  • Highly organised with consistent follow-up and clear communication.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Experience in the building, construction, or architectural industry.
    • Understanding of Australian products, building documentation, and standards.
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace.
    • Experience creating client presentation documents (Canva or InDesign).
Job Responsibilities
  • Admin / Finance Support (2 days per week).
  • Process and reconcile invoices in Xero.
  • Review and categorise receipts in Dext.
  • Reconcile bank transactions and ensure accounts are up to date.
  • Prepare and send client invoices and follow up payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking.
  • Manage and upload project documentation in Wunderbuild.
  • Maintain organised digital filing for accounts and admin records.
  • Design / Interior Specification Support (3 days per week):
    ● Assist with SketchUp modelling and interior detailing (joinery, elevations, finishes).
    ● Prepare and maintain FF&E schedules (fixtures, finishes, fittings, and equipment).
    ● Source product data, finishes, and images for client presentation packs.
    ●Update and manage specification documents and finish boards.
    ● Assist in coordinating client selections and supplier information.
    ● Collaborate with the design and construction teams to ensure selections align with build requirements.
